I'm working on another project for Golden Week right now. DE are on my list of things to do, but I'm not in any rush.
Suprisingly none of us bought DE because of the new Codex.

Cool looking nasties, but jumpin' Jesus on a pogo stick, they are a lot of money! I can see a mixed-unit being really nasty, for the reasons Prim outlined. Wound-allocation will make them tougher than they look on paper. Slaneshi nasties and Stealers must be feeling pretty passe' right about now.

and how do you get 11 models for teh same price as a marine squad? a razorwing flock is one model, btw, not 4...

3 Beastmasters, 1 Fiend, 5 Khymera, 2 Flocks. A shade over 200 points with equipment for the Masters. 11 models.

aaaaaah, I see. When you said cost, I was thinking you meant, yknow, money. That being my major gripe with the unit, and all. (aside from some of them being a tad on the fugly side...)

That would partly be due to me not actually having played any 40k since the new codex came out. I'm not gonna, either, at least until Nagoyahammer in May (unless I can squeeze in a cheeky one with Ash or someone who wants to travel down here some time in April?)

You'll see em when theyre done, and not before. No paint = no play. That has to be my rule for any non-eldar armies I have, or else they go the way of the Tau...

I've been busy the past month or so painting Warmachine stuff and dealing with real life, but as it happens, I hope to finish my first unit of Kabalites this weekend, and will post pics when theyre done. I have also test painted a single wych (needs more pep) and as you know Ive been experimenting with airbrushing the raiders. I need to convert a Baron for my hellies, but aside from that, its gonna be painting all the way from here to Nagoyahammer...

OK Pime is painting Bloodwolfspacetemplarangel marines... and just can't pull himself away from them to work on xenos scum ok well how about Mike the can't seem to win with Eldar Pike...Mate the Dark ones have go to be better than the good guys ones...
