Spec, I think you're fairly singling out GW for the "evil corporate b******s" label there. :)

There you go mate, fixed that for you ;)
Really? In the whole world, no other company ever charges what they can get away with? It's not just big companies either; the roll shop round from my office charges 95p for a can of Irn Bru, which is a damn sight worse than charging a tenner for a Space Marine character.
Have you got a link to the forum dedicated to all things roll related? I shall start having a go at them over there if you do.

wow! 95p for a can of irn bru. Man, what I wouldn't do for a 95p can of irn bru...

altho, in all fairness, I do agree with AGP on this one. GW may be ECBs, but they're hardly all alone out there in their corporate evilness. It all depends on how you perceive the company. Is it there to make models for gamers? If so, ECBs. Is it there to make a profit? If so, jolly good show, chaps - carry on.

incidentally - baby poo brown? really? what in the heck did I do that for? I was sure it was red...

I don't believe anyone was saying otherwise.

Wow, I new the rising cost of metal was hurting some industries, but the cost of girders must have shot up since I was last home. :D

I think you used the same mix that you used for Skaven flesh. Not totally sure, since it was buried under a couple of layers of Blue Grey and then went into the Power Spray a while back.

that? that's not baby poo brown (or if it is, your baby needs to see a doctor) that was purplish pinkish red, that was.

Getting somewhat off the topic of M_i_J's pre-japan painting skills and back onto the topic of what Forge World will be releasing at GD UK this year:

Mark 1 Deimos Pattern Rhino:

Relic Pattern Contemptor (ie it has more bling):

Both priced in the 30 pounds region.
