Regular (and irregular) events in the Nagoya area can be posted up here. If you want to get your gaming fix, this is the place to look first.

Not sure if I will ever make it down there myself but I will let all my mates in Japan know about this and will post a link on my FaceBook page. Seems like a bloody good idea and if I lived closer, I would indeed be there.

PS. That video was very good but left me feeling motion sick :(

It sounds like a great idea.
Sadly my work schedule doesn't give me many free evenings and even when I do get them, I will probably spend them at home with my wife.

Still, best of luck, I hope it takes off.

Sorry it looked small from the photo. That said it must be a good place for rpg with all the books as a backdrop. Good luck I hope it goes well. Likewise I'll recommend it to folks in Nagoya.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Look guys, what I can just say is "come and see with your own eyes".

On a side note, If you have books or games you want to get rid of, bring them with you and we can discuss about it.

Cheers

Primarchs are remarking, wise individuals, but that doesn't mean they can't err... you just broke the rule number 1: NEVER MARRY, this would affect your gaming habits GREATLY. :geek:
number 2: NEVER MARRY
number 3: if you can't help and you really want to screw up your life, at least MARRY A GAMER!

Or you could get married and make gamers out of your kids.

Dude, this is one of the slowest maturing, most expensive investments EVER. What does each kid cost all things accounted for (food, medical, clothing, room and board, tuition, upkeep, treating, time, misery)? :D A few hundred-thousand dollars, maybe? What is that equal? A hundred times Prim's collection? (give or take) :D
Maybe you get some dividends paid in 'joy' periodically but then you may get a gamer when they turn to gaming age, but maybe your in-laws, your parents and your wife (maybe the kids' friends) have directed them down some other path. :geek:

Of course, you seem to be doing pretty okay yourself, Adm., with your little ones. :)

khorne wrote:Small venue??! I mean it's bigger than the Joshin place and it doesn't smell bad!!! (actually one of the reasons I stopped going Joshin is just the sorry state of the place and the shopkeepers attitude). If it's a big event we might close the shop, but actually there's not that many people coming over, so I don't think you'll get annoyed or distracted... I was also thinking about night sessions during the week
Night sessions sound good to me. Keep me informed on what might be organized.

Is Fox_in_Japan participating?

Well guys, let's start something then. When are you free? Do we want to have a big week-end event first with lots of people, or a more "private" night event would be better for our first go? Either is ok for me. Give me a couple of dates and I'll get things working. Ask me in PVT for my phone number

I am free most Wednesday and Fridays. I have to get permission first and there is a chance I may have other plans. Also, if things become more established or fixed, I can arrange my schedule a couple months ahead to make time for events.
