The lost is my favourite set of Gaunt books. Just a level above the others, I think, especially Traitor General.

Duly noted. I think this would probably be better. Originally I had planned for the winner, who at this rate is going to be commissar Gaunt, to go into the next round and then add some bigger names, like chapter masters and what not. Let's call it early and say Gaunt is the winner.

Please post your preferences for 40k characters that you want to see in the next character battle. Depending on how many suggestions we get I may have to draw names out of a hat.

Note to all player: Thank you kindly for participating in this experimental game, I'm still working out the kinks but hopefully it will get better once we a list finalised.

For Round 2, please read the rules and note that once the list is done, you can't add characters to the list that aren't on it.
I'd also like to change the rules a little and allow for players to Add once to a character and Subtract once from a character per post
