today I stuck together Irrrryylliiyyynny or whatever the floaty bugger's name is. He's a bit stretched, in my opinion. A good deal too tall, even for an eldar. And flash? ye gads. I spent a good hour today trimming it off. Now all I have to do is fill all the bloody gaps and I'll be good to go

Job and Badruck, yep, they're playing the French. ToD just wanted some cheap bolt throwers.

I finished putting together my Aeonic Orb, and it looks pretty good! (Keeping in mind that I am a clumsy noob when it comes to scratch-building things out of plasticard, of course.)

Today I got some more WW2 Russian infantry glued to their bases. I also started to assemble a German PaK 40 75mm anti-tank gun. It's bleedin' massive. I was hoping to base it on a large GW round base, but it isnt big enough. I'm going to have to go to Tokyu Hands or somewhere and see if I can get some wood to use as a base.

I almost finished up my Protectorate Warmachine army, although I have a couple more models on the way. I have to say I am happy most of my guys are wearing masks, 'cause I am not having much luck painting Rhupert the piper's face.

Also attempted to make a smart missile system for my Broadsides out of colourboard, which I found out is just soft styrofoam on the inside with paper on the outside, and it melts if it comes in contact with superglue... Anyone have a suggestion for a good material? I am not much of an artisan, so I am just looking for functional, not pretty!

plasticard is your friend when doing Tau stuff. I did my battlesuit conversions almost entirely with the stuff.

as for what i did today? absolutely bugger all. not very happy about that, tbh. Had to write a longish email to a mate who'd gotten married last weekend, and also spent far too much time reading that somewhat pornographic web comic that our fearless leader linked to. Been in a rather brain-numbed state,today...
