The heat and having no aircon in my house is making it unbearable to paint, built the BFG battle ships and magnetized them last weekend and only sprayed them black.

Also received my Scythe Boardgame from the kickstarter at the Jigg Kansai meeting in Osaka.

It is getting pretty muggy :(

@Pikey - Nice house mate! Scale model of your dream bach up in the Bay of Islands, eh? ;)

@Prim - Great progress mate. I recognise the crow and have been on the recieving end of those demons. The rotund one is a sneaky one he is ;)

@Yellowstreak - Nice gang of bikers!

On the weekend, I did get some paint to model, working on finishing my TnT crew. I also put together a landspeeder for Horus Heresy and stuck bases on my Frostgrave minis.

I've been constructing and painting more little buildings over the past few days. Although 6mm is my first true love, I do have to say that 10mm has one big thing going for it: if you're in a setting that allows modern-ish buildings, you're spoiled for very nice-looking terrain through N-gauge railroad stuff.
Feel free to call me Dave!

I hear you. I'm on the 9th floor, so we get a good breeze when there breeze to get. My weekend/holiday geekery schedule is up at 5-6 am and go sit out in the shady stairwell and work for a couple-three hours with a tall mug of iced coffee. Sculpting Diggaz and scratch building Mutiez is slow work.....
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

Today I actually did hobby stuff!
sort of, anyway...

I locked in my and J-R's TGG2 KS pledge. This doesnt sound exciting, but srsly, it totally is. Raging Heroes' pledge manager is basically set up like their online shop, except youve got hundreds of dollars worth of store credit from when you backed the KS over a year ago. It's like spending monopoly money. Tremendous fun, it really is. Anyway, JR and I are now awaiting loverly package or two of 86 minis. Mostly his, I might add. I do, however, have an incoming contingent of wracks for my dark eldar, as well as what I hope will be the mostest awseomest semi naked evil elf Frostgrave gang this side of Kingdom Death.

by the way, should anyone ever be considering shopping with raging heroes, I can heartily recommend them. They've been nothing but helpful to me even when I've asked for stuff outwith the norm, and have good manners, too. (They emailed back just to say "you're welcome" after I finished up a conversation with "Thank you". Tip of the hat to the Frenchies.) Also excellent sculpts, of course.
current (2019) hobby interests
eh, y'know. Stuff, and things

Wow. And then Corona happened. Just....crickets, all the way through to 2023...
