In case anyone overlooked it. The 22nd is a public holiday. Looking forward to some good old gaming.

I will be picking one person up at 9:30. Anyone else who wants a lift, is welcome. Car fits 2 more.

Sorry, the little one caught a bit of something so it would be inappropriate for me to leave her with poor tired Mom. I have to bow out of this one. Sorry.

Fair enough. I'm sure the wife will appreciate the sacrifice. Next time, then.

'bout 9:30. A lift would be appreciated, sounds like it'll be a rainy-day, game day.

Hi all,

Thanks for coming yesterday. It was a lot of fun. 10 people came with 2 unable to make it. I am considering October 10th for the next one. It is a public holiday. The 23rd is open too. So I may also do something on that day.

Thanks for the lift D.L. You really should consider a career in rain-making. Your game days do seem to bring the rain.
I played probably the shortest game of Gorkamorka ever. Brought out my new Muties but bottled out before I even took my first turn  That's classic GW for you. But no worries. Stooge and I had a good laugh taking his Boyz to the Doc and buying bionik bitz for them. I learned some Japanese, 藪医者。 Played a bit of "bootleg" Descent. One of the guys cobbled together an Overlord-less version. Old school dungeon crawl. A good rainy day of geekery.

Yep, the lift was indeed appreciated, especially with all of those extra books I was lugging around for people, or from people.

Thanks for all the free Dungeons and Dragons books, Satoru-san!

I had a good time despite getting my behind kicked in Warmachine. Mark III doesn't look much different but a few points gained or lost here and there make big changes in how armies syngergize. I guess this will be the excuse I need to finally by a few more figures for the game. Now if only they would release the Revelator...

Hopefully next time I can stay for the board games too.
