I just noticed that monstrous creatures lose effectiveness as they take damage (see Tyranid Swarmlord for example). This is rather good, I reckon (big nasty CC unit like the Swarmlord is too hard to kill in H2H, so shoot him up a bit then chop 'is legs off.)

Good for you. :D

Y'know, the more I look at the Primaris Marines and think about why I like them, the more I realise it's this: "truescale" marines have successfully changed GW's "heroic proportions" into "actual human proportions". Like, their limbs, heads and extremities are actually the right size for their height. It's a good look! :D

Also, apparently the models in the starter set are, in fact, monopose (which makes sense for a starter set), for those for whom that would influence your decision to get 'em.

It looks like some prices have been announced.
95 GBP for the starter.
35 GBP for the rulebook.
15 GBP for the index books.

Those seem reasonable, given what has been charged in the past. I see they intend to get all the FW rules out by the end of June, too, which is nice.

I'll be headed to the US on a business trip in July, will try and pick up rules then (prob not the box, just the book). If anyone wants a book, let me know by the end of June.

Sadly (for my wallet) I just realized that "they're using Primaris marines to reinvigorate dead or near-dead chapters" means mine is actually a great chapter to get a bunch of bigmarines for. :?

I'm likely off to the UK in August. Might be able to pick up some small purchases for people too.
Will probably pick up a hard copy of SWA for myself at least, maaaaybe the 8th ed rule book and an index.
