my rulebook for SWA arrived today. Quite chunky, actually, and surprisingly worth the 20quid I paid for it.

On an unrelated note, does anybody have the faintest idea why American Gods episode 2 is "not available" on Amazon Japan, when it's available on every other regional Amazon Prime service? It should've been released on the 8th, but, although it's listed, you can't actually watch it. Very odd, and my google-fu is failing me. I know I could torrent it, but since I actually paid for Prime, it'd be nice to, y'know, actually watch what I paid for. Bit vexed, this evening...

I also pre-ordered the new Sigmarine Mausoleum. For 40quid, it's nae bad, and will do wonders for my as-yet unrealised Frostgrave table.

@j-r : Where did you find a copy of newcromunda? I thought they were all gone?

That's how they get you. Pretty soon it'll be an army of Grey Knights and more besides.

Believe me, I am painfully aware! See my post in my ASC thread about how thinking about getting a 5-man devastator squad is likely going to balloon in to getting like 25 more marines, just so I have have some weapon options and diversity in armor marks. And then all I need is a rhino or two to play 40K, right?

The fact that a box of, say, 5 grey knights would give me both a neat new squad to use in ASC and a neat little Shadow Wars kill team is also suuuper dangerous.

Had Jus come over to my house on the weekend to play Walking Dead. I think he left traumatized after having to use a hatchet to amputate the arm of Dale (his favourite character) after he was bitten...

No one said life in the Zombie Apocalypse was going to be easy...

We also had a quick intro game of Zombicide (to keep the undead theme going..)

Also assembled the first of my levy with slings and javelins for Saga/Hail Caesar.

I primed up my second batch of vikings this evening, and got the base metallics down on my little squad of Alpha Legion, plus got started in on their armor.

I've been plugging away at a batch of Anglo-Saxons over the past few days. All of the clothes and equipment is done, just their skin/hair and shield designs to do.
