What a guy!

Nice work, though it looks like Ace has let himself go a bit. :D

Too many kippers LOL :)
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

My first technically-fieldable-but-you-wouldn't-want-to unit for my AdMech is done:

Still trying to source some printable waterslide transfer paper, but all told I think unit markings are definitely one of those "nobody will miss them" things on these guys.

All the same, I'm pleased with how they've turned out, and I like how I (entirely by accident) stumbled on a scheme that should go along with my Marines nicely - the AdMech (light gray with yellow and red detailing) will complement but not clash with the Scythes (black with yellow and red detailing). Importantly, it's a very "doable" scheme - even very light gray like this is a lot more forgiving than white, so it won't drive me nuts. And I really dig the models; after painting these guys I'm glad I decided on a Skitarii-heavy force after all.

Last night I washed a few resin (yuck) models for this month's Gauntlet. After that I started painting the river sections I built for the Battle of Fulford event. :D

Nice work guys.

Love the Admech Dave. Tricky to get the complement colours with the Scythes, but looking good. :)

Nice Porco Rosso Ash! :)

I know how much you hate the resin Prim - hang in there!

I woke up from my no-painting slumber and managed to finish some real old school stormtroopers. The ones with berets. 6 down a hundred to go.
Also pushed my steampunk dwarves a bit.

@ Porco Rosso! Very cool, Ashmie.

I was able swing by the Osu area yesterday at lunchtime and picked up some paints and a drill bit. Before bed, I was able to do some repairs on my Blood Slaughterer(er). It's walking again! Blood for the BloodGod!!!

I made the decision yesterday to not sell / throw out all of my hobby stuff.

I'm moving in with my girlfriend tomorrow, and since I haven't touched my paint brush in 2 years, the minis were on the chopping block as being a waste of space.
But I guess I have too many memories of painting my guard ladies and playing with you fine folks, and at the last second I decided to keep everything.
Of course, now I'll have to get back into painting to justify my decision...

(I'm still in Kansai by the way. I'm just moving to a different part of Osaka.)

3 more Cyborg Boys done:

And I just have to say, I'm no fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs' writing, but all the same it just tickles me to death that the faction from Mars has guns that shoot radium bullets.
