Re: What did you do today.
argh. Clearly painting those nurglings has attracted the attention of grampy N, cos I have been struck down by a most foul and heinous lurgy. Spent the whole weekend so far sick as a dog - head thumping, throat sore, general muscle pain and suchlike. Went to bed early last night and slept for 13 hours straight (thank you Mrs MiJ for that), but still pretty bollixed today. Should've put more effort into those nurglings, I guess...

Over the weekend and Monday evening, I have mainly been cleaning up Bones figures. Reaper have changed the consistency of some of their new models so that they are a little more rigid than before, which makes filing off mold lines a little easier.

Re: What did you do today.
I dropped by the reaper store last weekend, bought some camels and an ogre. The camels are in the new more rigid grey bones material - much better than the old material imho.
The Ogre is the new reaper bones black which is a hard plastic like GW - very nice indeed...
So many games, so little time....

Soooo envious! Mind you, if I could just drop by the Reaper store I'd be broke in a few weeks, so perhaps it is for the best.
Also, Camels??

You never know when you'll need a ship of the desert! They're substituting as a mule team for my french foreign legion in a tourney at the end of the month.

@Yellowstreak - Ah, makes sense.
Speaking of French, I started assembling my Free French/Goumier army last night. As it is primarily an infantry force, there are a lot of models to clean up and glue to bases. If I can stay focussed and get them done, I'll just have 37 unpainted and unassembled Bolt Action armies to go.

Re: What did you do today.
I finally finished up this monster today, the lead engine for my Gryphonicus maniple.

Two full weeks, with actual painting going on pretty much every day, is an unusually complex project for me, but on the other hand there really isn't anything I'd like to change about it, which is also unusual for me.
Not sure whether I'll do the warhounds or the knights-lancer next, but those are all I need to finish for a 1500-point army.

@Dave - bloody lovely, that is. Completely lacking in swoosh of any kind, but still, a thing of beauty indeed. A well deserved tip o the hat to you, sir. *tip*

Thanks, gents. Yeah, the only thing that tops a Warlord in "anti-swoosh" is a Gargant, I reckon.
