Nagoya September Games Day: 9/20 at the Naka Lifelong Learning Center

Post by The Other Dave » Thu Aug 27, 2020 2:38 am

Thanks to everyone for being so responsible and helpful with social distancing at the last couple games days. We're going ahead with the next one as planned, although we'll be keeping an eye on the COVID situation so cancellation is a possibility - thanks for your flexibility.

Date: Sunday, August 16
Time: 9am - 4pm
Location: Naka Lifelong Learning Center between Kamimaezu and Higashi-Betsuin
Cost: 500 yen for the day to take part if you play any games, nothing just to watch

State of emergency permitting, I'm hoping to be there this month (knock on wood) - at the time of posting, numbers are coming down in Aichi, so hopefully I'll be able to make it.

I'll have Crusade, but I also do want to get back to encouraging Underworlds play, so if anyone's up for a game or two of that (with your warband or as a demo) let me know!
Feel free to call me Dave!

I'll be there, barring another State of Emergency. Will have a Crusade force and a table's worth of terrain in tow though likely not anything else to limit how much I need to tote on the train.

I'll bring stuff for 25PL/50PL crusade games. I'd also be open to play some matched play at 1000pts~2000pts. Let me know if anyone is interested in any larger 40k games so that I'll know what to pack.

I usually bring a lot of stuff so I can play a larger games if you want. It's been a while since we last battled anyway!

I am planning on attending.

I will have 40k 9th Ed - 25 & 50 Pl lists, they will probably be different than my current crusade list - I want to try some new units and strategies.

I'm keeping my matched play powder dry until October codexes/faqs. I wouldn't mind a full Strike Force game afterwards though, just in case Covid clears enough to make the December Tokyo tournament something to consider.

Sure! Let me know what points level you're comfortable with and I'll bring enough stuff for that.

Anywhere between 1000-2000points is fine. I don't mind which one you want to play I can make a list for it. I'll try to bring some scenery too. And maybe there might other people who want to join in.
