After waiting patiently primed for a year, the Dialogus gets a quick battle ready paint job based on the new prayer rules for Sisters.

Well my painting stuff has finally arrived in Singapore. 5 months door to door from Texas....

I have a bunch of battletech stuff to paint! @Primach have you tried the Battletech Alpha Strike rules? They've got me well back into battletech (after 30 years!) and the new lovely plastic minis are top notch too!

Very quick buzzer beater done just before I picked up the new Sisters models.

Partially an attempt to resolve some of the backlog before growing it, but mostly they got buffed.

I finally finished up the last of my infantry squads! The Tarsonian Ashwalkers are almost finished now - coming in around 2500 points all up, I think. I just have to finish up a couple hundred transfers for their shoulders now.

No hobbying, but I found these little tin trinkets at Seria and thought they could make good scatter terrain for flavor. I might try and paint them up to look like state fair playground attractions or something since they're dinky and weirdly sized already.

First and most important of the new Sisters done (and starting a running theme of spears).

Nice work Jye and Matt! I love seeing some good old Cadians.
I too finished the last of my infantry squads today. Funny how it took me 5 years to paint 60 infantry and then 1 month to do another 150.

Forgive me for spamming a few pictures to celebrate the milestone.




An even 100 guardswomen, with 10 sergeants, 10 magnetized special weapons, and 10 vox casters.
Could also be run as 90 conscripts.


60 more troops in blue attire, meant to be run as veterans and company command squads (but they could also work as stormtroopers or regular infantry squads).
I thought it was important to have two different colored battalions in case I want to run different regiments in the same list.


Finally, 50 stormtroopers with lots of special weapons. Again, they could stand in as regular troops, especially with the 100 troops as they share the same color scheme.
I recently ordered 10 more to fill out a battalion, but I'm still waiting for them to arrive.

@MattB & Dekana - Congratulations on your impressive output. Imperial Guard aren't for the faint of heart.

@Jye - Your Sisters army must be growing at a similarly jaw-dropping rate.

@YellowStreak - 5 months is a bit of a wait, but everything arrived in the end. I haven't tried the Alpha Strike rules, when I have played Battletech I used the full rules to play. I'm looking forward to seeing some painted mechs at some point in the near future.

I reckon I'm keeping up in points but not in models - which is even more impressive when you see the care and quality in each one of their figures!
