@Jye - You're really cranking those stormcast eternals out. You are truly doing the work of Sigmar.
Thanks! I felt like I owed the Emperor one though.
These jerks were really good when I bought them but Space Wolves couldn't use them and I procrastinated magnetising them while figuring out what else to do with them. They have since suffered enough nerfs that I no longer felt any pressure to magnetise, and just glued them up.
Space Wolves can make use of them now so the first batch is an Assault squad in Space Wolf Grey.

Literally everything I'm painting is monopose/pushfit because I'm too scared to build anything with options before the new book next month

I think you've just identified the problem with building models to fit the rules.

If you build the best option, they're liable to get nerfed at some stage. Build what you think looks cool and you'll always be happy with them. (Even if they are sub-par on the tabletop).
I remember one of the best Codex Nid options in one edition not even being game legal in a later edition. Anyone who had built the most efficient unit in the Codex suddenly found themselves with unusable minis.

@Jye I'm super impressed by your throughput as well!
The BBW is coming along nicely. I'm of course building it with certain parts unglued or magnetized so that I can run any of the variants.

That's the best advice for sure. But I do find a unit getting a substantial buff makes it look a lot cooler (eg Thunderwolf Cavalry)...
(I don't need fully competitive armies for fun games in Nagoya of course, but imagine if one day I somehow got to Tokyo, and somehow played a competitive game - I'd want Dekana's inevitable victory and my defeat to be as glorious as possible)

Finished up Elathain's Soulraid tonight:

I took a bit, mostly because my queue is basically empty at this point with no need to rush on anything, plus end-of-semester heat wave blahs.

Feel free to call me Dave!

Fabulous ToD - if this is contrast you have made me a convert.

Yeah they look great - are they coming out to play at Plamojuku this week?

@Ballonacorn - indeed it is! Lots of finessing to be fair - in particular, basically everything was very thinned down with medium to get that washed-out pastel look.
@Jye - I’d told myself I was going to focus on vampires but it’s tempting

plus I have to get in matches with orcs and skeletons!

@ToD Those look awesome!
I especially like the webbing between the fish's spines. It looks very natural.

Let's do a TTS game so you can have a glorious defeat without coming to Tokyo!
@Dave: Really love the shades of blue you've done on the Soulraid. The shield especially looks *chef's kiss*.
I was able to get my 2nd vaccine last week. I had a really strong reaction like the first time, but even worse - a nearly 40 degree fever for all of the next day. That knocked me out of hobby stuff for a bit, and I've been relaxing with some video games since then. I need to get back to magnetizing my baneblade!
