@M_i_J - Well done sir, in under the wire with time still on the clock. I knew you could do it!
Great looking Ogre and assistants, and in record time too.

Re: Burning Up the Backlog.
I finished exactly at midnight but uploading a picture and writing out this post took a few minutes so I'm a bit late.
Anyway here it is, 20 Pathfinders from bare primer to (more or less) fully painted in 4 week days (a total of roughly 12-ish hours). I usually tend not to paint during the week since I feel like I don't have enough time but this challenge plus some good old procrastination has allowed me to discover that I can make time. Thanks again to Primarch for throwing down the gauntlet.

@Karantu - Hmm, I'll allow it, especially since you exceeded the initial target by a fair margin.
And there you have it folks, all of our cursed painters have faced the challenge placed before them and emerged triumphant. Well done to all concerned and thank you for joining in with the spirit of things. You are free to lower your brushes and resume your usual routines.
Sadly I didn't get to wield my (not particularly) awesome powers this time around as everyone overcame the geas. But as we all know, the darkness of true evil (and forum admins) can never truly be destroyed, only temporarily held back...

wow great job everyone, this has been very helpful. I think being set a task in writing and then meeting the expecations of the community adds impetous and motivation to the process. How about setting a challenge for Oct?

These are fabulous - you could make a living painting in a more miniature friendly country.me_in_japan wrote: ↑Thu Sep 30, 2021 2:51 pm*sound of car belting up the road at a hundred miles an hour draws rapidly closer*
