Big purple punchy dread.
I have a few random purple dreads now so this one got some red and yellow to stand out.

Re: What did you do today.
Finished these Devs just before running out the door for a trip to Nara, which is appropriate because I'm finishing them just in time for one last game day before their current rules and point values go in the bin
(No idea how they'll fare in 10th but they're so efficient now it's hard to imagine them getting better. Most likely they'll revert to the mean)
Also the Primaris Lieutenant from Imperium Magazine, about to get a brief career handing out rerolls before joining a Bladeguard unit.

And here's their ride. These models are a pain, especially if you are silly enough to paint the insides without subassemblies...but they are so good in game. Fingers crossed they stay that way in Indexhammer.

I've also been playing Boltgun, and it's good! I think the genre being labelled "boomer shooter" is deeply unfair, but it's a great example of it. It's one of the few games in which a boltgun actually feels like a powerful weapon

Having gone through with my plan to use Palanite Enforcers as Scouts, I really can't account for why I decided to give them red pants.
Re: What did you do today.
@Jye - You've been very busy it seems. Obviously those red pants are for blending in with flora on alien worlds.
This week I've been trying to make a bit more progress on my Novamarines, but it is slow going.

As someone old enough to have vivid college-dorm memories of being amaze-balled playing the original Wolfenstein 3D and Doom off floppy discs, this is very much my jam. Have to put in my couple hundred hours in Zelda first, though.Jye Nicolson wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 3:17 pmI've also been playing Boltgun, and it's good! Last couple of purple buzzer beaters for tomorrow, for one of the last games they're likely to be any good

Re: What did you do today.
I don't think the Kratos is terrible in 9th actually; it can put out a lot of mortals and is a hefty beast. It is specifically trash in the Guard matchup though so fingers crossed it gets good 10th rules or this guy is going to be on the shelf for a good long while
Re: What did you do today.
@Jye - That's a LOT of volkite. I would have thought it would eat through guard at an incredible pace?
