I finished up one half of my field ordnance battery. I'm very slowly getting close to finishing my combat patrol.

Yes indeed! Some new edition inspiration, a bit of leaning in to what appears to currently be relatively good (daemon engines), a bit of trying to mitigate what appears to currently be suboptimal (bulking out my plague marine squads to 10 guys).

I have had a bit of a productive month. I managed to get some more models done for 30K and for 40K.
First off, some Gal Vorbak for my Word Bearers.


And some more Novamarines.

Awesome work, always love to see those Novamarines (the Gal Vorbak are also fine work of course but nobody likes a Word Bearer ).



For my part that's one combat patrol done but barely scratching the surface of that Leviathan box. It'll be more marines for the foreseeable, by virtue of being primed, but I would like to get the Nids done too in time for the 30th.

I continued the Return to Nurgle yesterday and assembled a bunch of plague marines, while getting started on the skin on the blight-hauler I'm working on. Then stayed up too late watching the GW preview thing and got all excited about Pestilens Skaven for Underworlds, and very very excited for an Epic relaunch. Waku waku!
