What did you do today.

@Jus - Very cool. I assume the spider is all 3D printed, but how about the banshee?

That's a nice Warp Spider, jus!
Guilliman did come out today, played a game against @Mephiston's Guard. He was very good but sadly I have to report my army's MVPs were actually Chris' dice, which absolutely did not come to the party. I'm not sure making his charges would have put him in a winning position but you'd expect he'd at least make *some* of them!
Still a great time against a lovely opponent as always!

Domo arigato! Good to hear that G-man is doing well.
@prim: That's right the spider is all resin but the banshee is GW. Just a comparison for style and size.

Re: What did you do today.

Hobby time has mostly shifted to assembly since priming is *not* happening, but I have a few primed things to get me through meetings.
These ones are the missing pieces that let me field a Tau Combat Patrol.

Not going to say there were too many meetings today but between the last few and a TTS game I had enough time for a rough and ready job on some Eliminators that have been primed for years.

Re: What did you do today.
Rather than getting much painting done (it's hot, y'all!) I spent the past couple days with a pair of scissors, a bunch of various cards I don't need any more, and some card sleeves, and MacGuyvered up a set of mission and stratagem cards for 40K 10th.
I definitely am going to finish up these plague marines for the game day on the 30th, but having 2 weeks to paint 7 guys is lulling me into a false sense of security maybe.

These have been crawling their way towards done for a while now, but finally dodged the distractions enough to get over the line.
I think the "meta" Votann lists call for more but the exoskeleton is kind of a pain

Another awesome game against @Devinkilp today, this time my Dark Angels into his Thousand Sons.
Went the full five rounds and the final scoreboard showed a 1 point loss for me! Very close and epic displays of resilience from both Magnus and the Lion. I'm really enjoying the 10th mission system when the armies are evenly matched and it serves up games like this!

Those look fun. Are all the bits and scenery GW? You could get some Tamiya tank/diorama bits and really go to town on those!Mattb wrote: ↑Mon Jul 17, 2023 12:31 amWell I finished my entire ordnance battery and I'm now slightly closer to finishing the Cadia Stands box I got many, many months ago. Not sure if it looks that good, but I tried to make it look like they're in the middle of a reload.
And the pair together as a unit.
