July 2025 Nagoya Games Day: 7/20 at e-able
Hi all,
July's game day will by Sunday the 20th, back at e-able in Higashibetsuin (venue link for any new folks). We'll be in meeting room 4, which is the usual room on the first floor. Cost is 500 yen for the day as per usual.
I'll have Blackstone in the morning, and am currently trying to arrange Legions Imperialis in the afternoon with Kondo-san. I'm hoping we'll be playing a small game, which might even leave me time for a little demo game if anyone wants to see how the game plays!
A reminder here since this thread is active that July 12th will be Kaijucon, which is mostly RPG-oriented but they've asked us to have a table of minis wargaming. At the moment it seems like that'll be just Jye and myself? But more are welcome!
Also a reminder that we've also got a Discord running (invite link here, which will be good for a week from posting).

Howdy all. In a change from usual I'll actually be able to come up and play next month. I mentioned it over on discord, but would anybody be up for helping me (re)learn the ropes of the new Malifaux? I have showgirls or Honeypot crews available.
Also, Grantholomeu (or anyone else, actually) - would you be up for a trial game of Trench Crusade? I'm keen to try it out.

This time I'm putting Emperor's Children on the table for sure.
(Space Wolves will be properly out with final points and working in the app by then though

I would be interested in trying out the beta rules for the new Malifaux. I would be learning as much as teaching, though. It's unlikely that we'd get through a full game in half a day (even with the stated shortened time frame of games), but a small game or part of a game is fine, too.me_in_japan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 24, 2025 1:38 amHowdy all. I would also be interested in learning/ help learn about the new system. I will need to triple confirm my wife's schedule but count me in!The Underdweller wrote: ↑Tue Jun 24, 2025 2:15 pmI would be interested in trying out the beta rules for the new Malifaux. @underdweller and @balloonacorn - aye, I concur. I don't have any expectations of a smooth-runnin' tactical fest, but I think it'd be interesting to at least try out the new rules and see how they go. I'm lining up a game of Trench crusade with Grantholomeu, too, so I'll need to be careful with time, but I reckon I can manage both mali4 and TC in one day as long as both are played at an introductory level (which is the plan for TC, too.)

If we're planning on doing half day segments, then I could be in for trying out Malifaux 4e as well! If someone could point me in the direction of the rules I'd appreciate it
