You realize in the above sentence you mixed up the gender of your own daughter as well as the usual atrocious spelling, don't you? If she ever did beat me, it would be one more legitimate win over me than you have. :D And I think we all know she already has a better grasp on the rules than you do. <cough> cover save <cough> learn the gone to ground rules. :D :D :D

BTW I really hope you are joking. It's cool that Kenya is getting into gaming but a tourney is no place for kids as others have said. The sheer volume of swearing alone should be enough to rule that idea out.

Good to see you aren't still bitter about that. :D

Well, the Madmiral talks the talk but his walk is somewhat lacking.

If Taurebelz or Prim were to talk that much trash I would be forced by some telling stats to suck it up and take it. However, The Madmiral has two games from ancient history with very dubious results to base his strutting on. Therefore I reserve the right to call him on it. :D

it is all true she does know the rules better than I do... I seem to remember a certain Necron army shooting you to bits... there was nothing wrong with that game..

Trash talk is just a sign of insecurity really. :D

If you are "super bummed" you can "super not come".
Jeez thanks Spev. With friends like you, I sure don't need enemies.

@voss: None of Prim's conditions are particularly wierd. I mean, 1500pts is standard game size, and altho "no FW" is a bit crimpy, I cant think of an army that relies entirely upon FW models to the extent that you cant play without them. In fact, the only thing you cant use FW in is the tourney, and there are alternative things that can be done on that day if youre that attached to your FW models. Likewise, he's made allowances for people that dont have 1500pts of minis on both days. What's stopping you from coming? It strikes me as a bit premature to go making a kunnin plan before the event rules are even announced, and if your army was going to be that unusual, why didnt you mention it to Prim before he set the conditions?
Never said anything about not coming, that was Spev discouraging me even more.

I still don't want to go into details as part of the fun I'm having for Nagoyahammer is doing something special this year. I got inspired by you little Nurgle army and came up with a project all my own; and though I'll never reach your standards, at least I would bring something wholey painted and win or lose I'd have fun with on a variety of different levels. One of the biggest incentives I had to work through this project was to field it at the 2,000 pnt level with a special center piece. Win, lose or draw (probably lose big time), who cares, it'd be fun to put that army down.

But 1,500 points ruins what I had planned and leaves me feeling like I sunk over $150 into a center piece (not even at full cost yet) that isn't of any use anymore and I still have hundreds of dollars to spend on the rest of the project to go.

I'll see what I can do mate. The 1500 point limit was due to 'some' people complaining that having the limits set too high was off-putting to other players. That said, most of the veterans can field 2000 or more with ease. Working in a 2000 point game shouldn't be an issue. Go ahead and build your dream army and let me worry about getting it onto a table. If nothing else I will play you and it will give me an excuse to pull out something equally special.....

@ Anyone that did not participate in the discussion on about this event... If you had an opinion you needed to voice it... Spve, MIJ, Mike, the pin, Prim and I all posted our thoughts and argued our points until Prime locked the (What do you want?) thread. if you wanted more points you should have ask for them I was very clear that did not have and do not have a personal preference to the points however I do know that there guys and girls out there with starter armies that did not want to be left out because of a high point limit. Some of them are Japanese and they do not read the forum I made it my goal to help them be heard. as for the tournament I am happy to see it go off... and I would not feel bad at all if it was played at the 2000 point level. But again that is just me... and as I have said before I will be there no matter what the point level I am sure I can have something painted and ready to go...

The lesson to be learned is if you want something you need to make sure you are in on the planing or at least aware of what is going on with the planing... rules are made by those that show up.. and spend the the time to get things done. I respect every opinion and I know that Prime does as well. He listens to what people say and right now he is bending over backwards to help you. Be thankful... I sure would not change a thing at this point if I were him.

Quality post, and I am in total agreement. Why can't you post like this all the time? ;)
