Today I learned I very much do not want to make a full Endless Swarm list.

This guy is a lot quicker and gets me to a playable, if far from optimal, 2K army. Still a long road ahead but I can now safely plan to play Nids at the January game day.

I genuinely think the ability to pick them out of scenery will be very helpful! I've forgotten too many models (or units for that matter) that didn't stand out.



In any case, the days of this thread having orange Nids are certainly coming to a middle.

Hormagaunts! Since these guys aren't in the pushfit boxes I don't have nearly so many as I do the Termagants - I recovered a few from my old Kill Team but not sure eit's enough for a second squad. Since their job is mostly to screen and tie things up one squad should be fine though.

Not sure you'd normally want two but I ended up with a lot of random nids from buying the standard starter set on top of Leviathan for Terminators.

Also visited Yellow Submarine today and unless I'm missing something they're completely out of Warhammer now. Which isn't really a surprise but I feel like I might have missed a sale there.

Yeah, they divested some time last year - I think Kondo-san got a bunch of stuff from them through a clearance sale / knowing the guy who runs the place.

Can't let Jye be the only one painting ridiculous numbers of models in here, so here are a gaggle of marines and a bunch of contemptors for my Imperial Fists:


The contemptors are nice little models! They kind of make me want to get a thunderhawk or two to carry them around in.
