Re: April 2025 Nagoya Games Day: 4/27 at e-able
My Sundays are a bit freer now, so I should be able to make it to some Sundays coming up, starting with this one. I’ll bring my Nids and some terrain for a game or two!

No worries. The fortress is what? 100,000,000 years old? It will be there next month. The Other Dave wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 9:46 amBlackstone peeps (i.e., Matt and Eric), how about we wait 'til May to start the campaign so Allan can jump in at the start? (I also have a big game of Epic lined up this Sunday so I may want as much of the day for it as possible)

Thanks for the awesome games and company as always folks! It was a great day.
I lost the game where I went first and attacked aggressively, won the game where I went second and got the opportunity to counterattack. I have learned nothing from this experience and will be trying YOLO turn 1 charges next month as usual!

And before I forget, great fun everyone. I got in a killer game of BANGARANGA. Itakura's bubblegum horror bio-zapped the crap out of my giant mutant hand-in-a-can horror, but I managed to end it with a well timed jump from above.(SPLAT-ARANGA). Death May Die was fun. Dang the miniatures for that game are gorgeous. I think the player characters are even more impressive than the monsters. Just really simple, natural, expressive, only slightly cartoonish figures.
And it was a pleasure to see Auxryn's DinoSquiggoths out on the board and to compound the joy, TirNaOg brought his delightful scratch-built WIPs of cardstock/styrene/kit-bashed Orky fun.
@Great to talk old-school GW with you TirNaOg, someday, someday we WILL do a 1st ed Fantasy Battle Realms of Chaos campaign! I'll PM you some of that Gorkamorka stuff in a bit.
