Re: Opinions please.
Who would have guessed that the Spevna was a FAAper?
@The madmiral: Congratulations on your admission of WAACness. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem

WAAC---------job---------*--------------------FAAP
I'm with Underdweller on the scale.
I'm a gamer first, and then a hobbyiest. (I like painting and modeling, but I've been always drawn to games primarily.)
And I tend to sway on the scale depending on my opponent. In the gaming store I would bend toward WAAC as it was a competitive group. But if I was playing with my chums, out came the Chaos Dreadnaughts, raptors, Greater Daeomons and lesser daemons and I was moving toward the FAAP end of the scale. FOW the group was competitive and I could be tabled if you didn't push a little WAAC, but more recently I feel comfortable going right on this scale. (Especially since the guys here seem to like to play out of similar books and play towards the historical bit.) And if I read my opponent is not a competitive person I bend toward FAAP and if he seems competitive I bend toward WAAC.
As a matter of fact, there's nothing wrong with WAAC or FAAP. There is nothing shameful to admit, too. Just play to what you like.

y'know, for once I actually find myself in agreement with JobAs a matter of fact, there's nothing wrong with WAAC or FAAP. There is nothing shameful to admit, too. Just play to what you like.
I think there's fun to be had in either side of the spectrum. The critical thing is that both players are on the same page. As long as that's the case, then all is golden.
