Well, seeing as how there are a few people bringing along games to demo, I may as well do the same. I will bring Ronin, a Samurai skirmish game, for interested parties to try out. It's pretty quick and easy to play.
Count me in for that in the am!
Sure.

Lovejoy wrote:@Konrad, great that you're coming. I have enough terrain for 2 of my 2' square (dead zone) mats now, if you can comfortably carry some of your excellent industrial terrain, we can make a bigger, 4x 4' table with all 4 mats. Or 2 insanely dense ones. Either way, sounds grand!
Might be a good idea for you to use your veteran Judges, get some XP.
I must get some sample Dredd lists posted for new players, busy week though. Think I can manage to post some before Friday. Thanks to those who are giving it a whirl.
Cheers. And yes, Judge Steele and Harker have been out of action for far too long. The you perps will have to be reminded that the Law never sleeps.

I might join if I can, just to say hello.
Does anyone play fantasy battle at the moment?

@Dekana - Looks like we are among the only people without any games planned. What do you say to another go at da orks? Perhaps 1500pts?

An update on the Dredd gangs I have available for Sunday.
I've sketched out 500 credit lists for the following, and selected their equipment, skill upgrades and talents so that we can start playing with minimum fuss. We can make new lists of course, if people want to take 10-20 minutes I can guide them through.

Justice Dept (at least 2 lists to choose from)
Mechanismo Strike Force
Ape Gang
Brit Cit
Street Gang
East Meg (Soviet) Judges
Robot Renegades

Think that's the lot. Konrad will be playing an experienced list, so I and others are playing with him we can throw in a mercenary or two to meet the credit cost for his list, no problem.

If you are playing, have a look through and have a think about what might be fun. Details on the factions is in the Dredd Thread. I was originally going to post more detailed info on each list, but that probably wouldn't mean much to newcomers (besides, I don't have any spare time! )

Cheers Job. I'm interested in Ronin, Dredd or whatever. I might come along armyless and with an open mind. If I get to game that's great but I'm interested to see different systems also just an observer.

Oops, I didn't see this post! Sure, 1500 orks vs IG works for me.

If you happen to have some extra boys or tau warriors, any chance I could borrow a few (~40) to stand in as veterans? Otherwise I'll have to bring one of the usual unbound tank lists. Which is fun too, but probably less so for you, hehe.

Sure. I've got 40 spare fire warriors.
How many special weapons are in each squad?

3 per squad, 2 of the same type (will probably be plasma guns) and 1 flamer. Sorry to impose on you like this; with any luck it will be the last time.
