erm. Finished the void singer, but that was it. A very dead painty month for me, and with the recent purchase of Warhammer: Total War, the painty prospects for June are looking grim. Should I put brush to minis, I aim to do 2 goblins and 2 zombies for Frostgrave. AFter that, in the unlikely event there is an after that, I'll do one or two sf buildings. I hope...

So, on to my June pledge:
5 Samurai era miniatures for Ronin.
5 D&D miniatures.
3 German vehicles for Bolt Action.
10 German infantry for Bolt Action.
That should do for starters. I also hope to make a start on my beach terrain for Overlord.

June is busy for me with work and business trips, but my plan is to try and finish off at least 500 points for Gates of Antares:
1 x Command Squad (3 man)
3 x AI Squads (5 men each)
1 x AI Infiltration Squad (5 man)
1 x Support Weapon Team (2 men + gun)

About 26 minis in total. Half of which are at least partially painted right now.

June: I've been doing work on the Napoleonics a bit at a time and having reached finally the Polish contingent, I'm rather uncertain how long it will take. However I'd like to finish about 24 models a month.

13 x Voltiguers
6x Grenadiers
6x Command miniatures

And I am done, with 17 German (Well, Russians in German service) infantry rather than 10. :D

As I am away for 2 weeks this month, my painting goals are going to be fairly light this month.
1 German vehicle for BA.
5 Figures for D&D.
1 Figure for Malifaux.

exactly zero painting for me this month. Total Washout, so to speak :? Although, I have had a hella lot of fun conquering the Old World. Well, I say "conquering". Attempting to conquer might be more accurate. I've dealt with the Empire, as well as all the Border Princes except Estalia, who are frankly miles away so I dont care. Chaos is gone, permanently, but I'm having real trouble dealing with the Norscans (so far away! and yet, so prone to invading and pillaging bloody everywhere!) and the Dwarves just declared war on me, which is going to be rubbish, as they are at the opposite side of the map to the Norscans (where my armies are...) Still, I soldier bravely on...

...ps. Painting goals: Paint something. Anything. Pray for me, brethren...

This month was only a half-success. I pretty much finished the Polish Voltiguers, but they are waiting to be based. (I'll adding some kind of bases for them in the next order.) The grenadiers and fusiliers however were never even base coated, so they'll be on the queue for next month. As I am still in the USA, I'll make a decision what to paint when I get home.

Because I pledged nothing to start the month, I consider myself not just a success, but a shining example to the rest of you. I am an infinite times better than my original pledge after finishing 12 28mm miniatures in one month.
