I'm crossing my fingers a little Inquisitorial retinue will be a good fit for kill team - although that may be high hopes, as an actual Inquisitor would be a powerhouse at that level of game.

Or there's always Inquisitor in 28mm, as I did end up with 2 copies of that rulebook for some reason.

I built some area terrain, heavily overgrown with plants so the new rule "if you see a foot you can shoot" is moot. Also a couple big flowerpots because in a city it's kind of difficult to find wild jungle.

sweet mother o monkey milk! Stop the press, hold the phones and watch the skies! The end times are surely upon us!!!!

Today I painted not one, not two, nae nor even three nor four, but FIVE (count em! 1,2,3,4,5!) minis. Dear god, I think I'd better go have a lie down. :|

(note the blu tac is just there until the actual glue dries. I'm using 2 part epoxy because superglue alone would snap off, the bases are resin, and I cant be arsed pinning them now.)

Also, yesterday I finished a tank, that had taken me a few days. Sadly, the final oil wash is being a pain in the fundament, and despite being sat out in a windy sun-drenched step all day, resolutely refuses to dry. It's got a coupla weeks before naghammer, so it better dang well get on with it. Razzin frazzin oil paints...

My mind is blown over here! Nice poxwalkers, man!

I'm out of sync with Prim's terrain initiative over on the gauntlet thread (I just got some new walls earlier this year), but I did finish up a hill last night:

I've got another tiny hill almost done, but I'm actually out of fine sand so it may have to wait a bit. My board for NagoyaHammer is getting nice and dense, though. One more piece and I'll be pretty much done with it - TTCombat is releasing some big chunky not-Necron terrain next month, and I'm going to get one of those plus a bit of Necromunda-oriented scaffolding and make a very ill-advised archaeological dig to give my little ruined settlement a bit of narrative flair, then I'll be able to go back to miniature-ing for a bit.

All is well when the great fell god of plastic putrification watches over MiJ's work - Hello Kitty. It will most likely make a certain Dutchman very happy.

Last night I worked on painting a German Opel Maultier. It is a really nice kit from Warlord Games.

Got the final details on the Rat-Ogre's helmet done. Just need to give it a once over final trim-and putty and jobs a good 'un.
Did a bit of list...well not building but pondering and mulling. You guys okay if I bring like 3 pie-tins, put a dozen or so Boyz on them and say, "These represent 30 strong Boyz Mobz." Would painting the tins green make any difference?
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....

I, personally, would look at that and go eeeeeehhhhhh. Half because I'd like to have a couple fully painted armies on the table, and half because keeping track of casualties and line of sight will be a huge pain in the rear.

@Konrad
More so than casualties, I think you'd have trouble piling the pie tin boyz into combat.
I'd personally be fine if you used random models counted as boyz, or failing that some empty bases.

Always an optimist Konrad.
I'm working on more area terrain. Should be finished today.
