Been kitbashing some (19th? century) Zulus into WW2 Nagas. Bad, bad pictures but I though I should show give the boss a progress report. Next will be the fiddly details. Rifles and arms and things.
Fun fact, the Naga peoples were headhunters. The head-removing tool of choice being a fiddly, skinny little axe sort of thing that I am only going to make 2 or 3 of. The unit leader/submachine gunner is still in the green-stuffed wire frame stage. That part of the project might actually be easier than the little axes......

@Konrad - Those Naga look great so far. Nice work on the robes and hair.
The Zulu models are indeed 19th century, being made for the 1879 Anglo-Zulu War.

@Kojibear - Brown models on a brown background? My eyes aren't that good you know.
The elves look very pretty (from what I can make out due to their camouflage). Likewise the Wolves are looking suitably grim and cold.

I finished up anuvva Armiger this morning, and got some good light for some family pictures of my Robot Party So Far:

(Just for Prim, they're razzle-dazzle urban camo on an urban-ish background. Sorry not sorry!)

The big lesson learned with the Armigers was "why didn't I use Leadbelcher spray for all my AdMech?" My Warglaives are ordered, so I have a week to focus on the last of my Skitarii before they arrive and distract me.

Nice work on the Shadespire tiles!
Did you mean to include some of your models in those pictures of gaming tiles? :D

Seriously though, nice work on the two mechs.

Thanks everyone, and sorry to Prim's eyes! :D

Nice work on the Armiger Dave. Speeders and tow cables around those ankles are the way to bring those down! :D ;)

Today I painted some Skitarii and... gave serious thought to buying the new Age of Sigmar starter set. Spoopy ghosts!

They are indeed quite Spoopy. :D
If only the other faction weren't more Sigmarines.

I'm actually coming around on the big old hippogriff mounts at least, though.

Some nice work all round guys! My stuff has arrived from Japan and I have my painting area almost set up. I did a little painting last night -- it always feels odd picking up the brush after a break.

I will definitely be visiting Nagoya between August and the end of the year (possibly twice). I'll let you all know once I have dates and hopefully we can catch up (and maybe even throw some dice should timing permit!)
So many games, so little time....

Last night I managed to get a little time in on some Zulus. The painting is nearly finished, after that I just need to base them.

Sounds great! At the very least we should grab a beer or two.
