I think it looks great so far. Very dark and moody.

This summer I will paint every single ork boy I have to the 3 color minimum...
3 colour minimum is a joke, lets be honest. If you spray them black, paint the gun silver and the face green you have your 3 colours, but your model looks like you gave up halfway through.

If you're going to paint em, paint em properly and do a decent job. You dont need to paint every single boy you have, just the ones you will usually use.

I just got my Silverhelms finished. I have done 20 spearmen and 5 heavy cavalry in a little over a week, with 10 colours/washes on each at least. That's a good tabletop standard, 3 colours looks lame, even on marines (who lets face it dont need much beyond a single colour to ID them). My painting isn't great and there are quite a few mould lines showing, but I'll be getting more than the minimum for paint points.

I'm spending tomorrow doing my Dragon Princes and Lord.

I guess that is what you think of the 3 color minimum

I mean they will be table ready but there are not going to win any prizes

It cost me Magnus the Red and all the parts to get it made and two rhinos (when Dave was desperate for them) to get it painted. It's not luck, its commerce!

As the thread starter, let me just respectfully say that sharing WIPs is more-or-less the point of this thread. There's nothing quite like a work in progress to show how the progress on your work is going, after all. :D
