I really liked the old Mk8 mini, but I havent seen any recognisably Mk8 marines since that one Jes Goodwin did many moons ago as part of the run of one-of-each-mark set they did.

As for 30k being shiny and all that, it wasnt really, i reckon. It was still a galaxy at war, it was just a galaxy at war for non-religious reasons. It was all still pretty industrial by the sounds of it. The descriptions of any spaceships come across as being terribly terribly gothic. All crenelations and lance batteries and whatnot.

I'd never heard it before until I read it on this forum. However, since the character of Shylock was a money grabbing businessman (from what I just read on the google search I just did), regardless of race the comment is correct. Nobody mentioned his race (and in fact had no idea about it) until you brought it up. This is one of those parts of being PC that I dont agree with. Saying "Person A is bad" somehow translates to "I hate all people of Person A's race." even when that is clearly not the case. It should be possible to make a comment about an individual without being accused of racism.
Anyway, all comments have now been rephrased. I just hope nobody gets their panties in a bunch because of my hate crimes against dinobots.

This is getting really off topic but I just got to put it out there.. I agree with Prim that PC today is out of control, whenever saying something some people put it in a totally different meaning and I think that this hunt for PC today especially in media is absurd. When establishment/person A is being criticised for something that people really should open their eyes to some guys choose to drag in race and stuff like that in the picture. Funny I think this is the same reason that we in Sweden cant have an open debate about immigration politics because everyone is dragging in racism in the picture while the whole system is &!@ed up. I guess the situation is kinda the same out in many other European countries right now. No wonder extreme right wing parties are gaining ground.
That was all for my political rant.. I don't know much about the power armour versions of the Imperium but I think the current one is the coolest.
