One single HQ choice, maybe a special character. Armed as per codex entry restrictions/choices.
How is that different from the Last Man Standing thing?

Spev suggested this as...

King of the Hill

- Every player can take 1 HQ model (I'm undecided about named characters) and one troop choice (including transport).
- No points limit
- Randomised turns

Each player puts down one terrain piece each, anywhere they like.
Players dice off to see who sets up first
Once all players have set up, roll to see which terrain piece is the "hill"
The game duration is determined as per the usual rules
At the end of the last turn, the player with the most points on the terrain piece is King of the hill.

I suggest amending it to include/exclude:
- No retinues
- Only dedicated transports
- A limit of 20 models of any sort/combination

Yes, thats is it.
I agree with the amendments that Pikey suggested.

- Every player can take 1 HQ model (NO named characters) and one troop choice (up to a limit of 20 models and including dedicated transport).
- No points limit
- Randomised turns

Named characters will be reserved for the Uber battle (Last Man Standing)

I'd like to suggest we have 1 central terrain piece as the hill. This prevents anyone from getting screwed because the terrain is in someone else's back corner and they cant reach it.

How do people feel about WYSIWYG?

Also, for Blood Angels, Land Raiders are dedicated transports for troops. Just saying.

Terrain - Good idea

WYSIWYG - Not so much of an issue if it is just one unit (in my opinion).

LR for BA - If it is a dedicated transport, fair f**ks. Take one and see how fast everyone gangs up on you. (in my opinion)

What he said^

WYSIWYG - Not too fussed either. As long as the model is fairly similar to what it is meant to be. After all, this isn't one of them serious tournaments like what that nasty Primarch runs :D :D :D

Demolition Derby

Players may take one vehicle model from any current codex.
It may be upgraded with anything allowed to it by its codex entry.
It should be kinda WYSIWYG. No shoe-boxes allowed!
No walkers.

Players will roll off and choose a starting point on the board to place their vehicle.
Once everyone has rolled off, there will be another dice off to determine turn sequence. This will be done every turn.
There will be no shooting of any sort.
The aim of the game is to ram the other players and immobilize/destroy them.
Naturally, we will be using the ram rules from the main rule book so have a quick read up.

How about a Walker-thon?

Pretty much a mix of the Demo derby and the Pit Fight but for Walkers.
Who is the 'ardest? Wraithlord? Furioso? Killer kan?
