Them's some awfully fine hairs you're splitting there, Dave. :) Not entirely sure what sort of message you're trying to send, but never mind.

I'm not so keen on the Contemptor dreadnought. I think it's because it seems too tall. The other stuff looks nice. I wonder what book they're intended for?

The epic model the Contemptor is based on was too tall as well. If I were to use it, I wouldnt stand it next to a regular dread. Maybe solo it would look ok?
The Praetor is based on the Crassus which hasn't appeared in any books yet. Maybe IA 11? IG + Wolves Vs Eldar.
The Tantalus will be IA 12 as that is when Dark Eldar are supposed to make their Forge World debut. I guess the techmarine is for the Badab books based on the comments in the original quote.

meh, its not like theyre listening anyway *shrug* What I'm buying/not buying is not so much to send a message as much as I just cant bring myself to swallow any more of GWs crap. Its a purely personal thing. I like FW, so I buy em. I object to GW, so I (largely) dont. I may fold and get one or two, but if I do, it'll be a personal choice. I'm not really trying to make a point, just live with my own sense of morality.

I read it was more likely to be IA13, actually. I just wish I could remember where, but it was yesterday on one of them forumy places. Not Bols or warseer. Another one... (sorry, totally unhelpful, I know  )

Pretty sure the Crassus was in the version of IA11 I saw at the Open Day. The Praetor wasn't, but they can probably squeeze it in if they want to.
