Agreed on inebriation.

The other thing we should agree on is which rulebook:
1) LRB5
2) LRB5 + 2008 Rules Review
3) CRB

What do you all think?

Does it matter? I mean, as long as any given match only uses one rulebook, it shouldnt make any difference, should it? So if one book tends towards speeding up team growth or whatever, then what of it? thats why theres a handicap system. Not trying to be argumentative here, just trying to keep everything as tekitou as possible.

*edit* incidentally - lookit you! 100 posts. And your 100th post was you being all BloodBowl League Commisioner tastic. Ah, it makes ye hanker for the old days of the IPDBIL, so it does...

It would matter in regards to teams and available skills. Khemri used to get mummies but alas they get only limp wristed Tomb Guardians :(

Tekitou has its moments, but I don't think this is one of them.
We'll avoid a lot of misunderstandings and petty squabbles if we can just come to an agreement. Like Spevna said, the rosters are slightly different, and actually the skills have subtle differences which would affect what you'd choose. The star players are vastly different.

I don't care much which we choose, flip a three-sided coin for all I care, but we should all agree on one.

Back to me 'old roots: I joined NagoyaHammer for Blood Bowl, and now I've finally returned to it.
But I have NO desire to be commissioner.

One more thing, you had better dig up that old Dark Elf roster because I DO intend to collect the bounty on that ST5 Witch Elf's head

After examining them a bit, the LRB5+2008rules review seems to have most if not all the CRB rules, but it also has retained the pictures and stories.

That where I'd put my vote.

Where can everyone get a copy of the LRB5 + 2008 rules?

upon reflection, I agree.

I'd forgotten about skill differences, and team choice and suchlike. Given that, I'd say we should maybe just use the LRB5+2008.

I have LRB5, but I dont think I have 2008review. Where from can I obtain this document of neededness?

I have a .PDF copy which I think I got from the GW site a few years back. Send me a PM if you'd like.

A quick search now turned this up:
http://www.scribd.com/mobile/documents/ ... addcj3isk8

Changes from regular LRB 5 are highlighted in red and seem the same as those included in the CRB. If anyone would like to do a more thorough comparison, be my guest.

I thinks LRB52008 sounds like our best bet...

I do not like the latest addition of the rules so my vote is LRB52008

and wile I would rather that GrimJ would be Da Komish. if no one has any objections I nominate myself. not that I want to be a power seeker but I am really keen to get this thing going.

So I guess we should put this to a vote..

all in favor of Da Admiral Badruck say aye

What platform are you campaigning on, Senator Badruck? :)

We're thinking about an open league, right? The scheduled type we did on Fumbbl seems like it'd be too hard to pull off, though scheduling a one-day tournament some time could work.
