Why would Banshees need a belly button on their armour.
for emo navel gazing.
Where can I find the info and starting stats for Amazon team? @ Admiral, MIJ?
my house :D Failing that, bring along a PC and a mem stick on Sunday and I'll bequeath you the whole kit and caboodle of BB rules. Not sure where to find em online, but google "Blood Bowl LRB5" and you should find em.

Incidentally, what I did today was:

1) Did a bit o work on banshee number 2.
2) Took some better pics of Banshee 1, 2, and an exarch just to show what base I'm working from.

Those are the exact same banshee I posted before, only this time with a decent camera and lighting.

current WIP. You can see the highlighting on her legs and belly armour, and not anywhere else cos I havent done the other bits yet.

The exarch, to show the gradation of colour. As you can see, airbrshing isnt the be-all and end-all of quick painting. There's a whole bunch of wee nooks and crannies that I have to get into with a brush to bring them into line with the surrounding colour (e.g. her ankle around the ankle jewelery is gonna need darkened down to match the rest of her feet/ankle area.)

Incidentally, is that exarch not just one of the acest eldar sculpts out there? graceful, dynamic, and chock full of barmy "im gonna chop yer ears off and feed em to ya" energy. Marvellous :D

@MIJ I think the gradient works well. The blue hair is striking.

Today I got my second army test-figure half painted. The base coats went on smooth as silk this time.

Optimistic goal: have front row of each unit painted by next games day.

I managed to glue on a stubborn spindly arm of a Malifaux mini - after having shortened said arm accidentily  - and then primed her black.

I also primed my test space marine.

I also painted most of the faces of my eternal guard.

Painted my first blood bowl mini. Team captain: Audrey Cakeburn.

I was thinking maybe Hellburn, Bloodburn or Hateburn but it was just too butch for her. Cakeburn it is as she will be burning the calories on the field and it fits with the fluff. :)

http://s591.photobucket.com/albums/ss35 ... MG3325.jpg

She gets the pink bunny suit as she is the captain. The rest are going to be black and white until they score a touchdown or win the game for their team. Then they can choose what colour their suits are modified to.

Sounds crazy but I think I might enjoy this project just as much as the Prussian Landwehr!!!
Apologies in advance for choosing the most sexist team on the market. Wait until you see the manager. She has an automatic and she is Bavarian. Flaming Nora. (Bob Murch mini).
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

there's a man getting into the spirit of the game! Good show, old chap :D

as for me, I've been painting banshees. Slow and steady wins the race. Well, assuming the race is full of really slow, unreliable people...

I like the Banshee MiJ! :) But which craftworld is that? Is it an original theme? The blue hair looks great and I think the shading is cool, too. I wonder bout the belly button though, maybe it is a bit big...anatomically that is ;)

Asch - love the bunny theme! Go with it. Do the opponents suffer from some kind of distraction rule? They should with your team wearing those skimp outfits.

By the way guys,

What spray paint would you use to prim/base coat a tank? Tamiya? Army Painter? I think it may be more cost effective than painting from a pot? Maybe?

In keeping with the BloodBowl theme, I present a stroll down memory lane......
