Thanks! Do you know where I can buy it and what it's called in Japan?

Styrene in English, スチレン in Japanese. You can get it at Tokyu Hands, Joshin Kidsland or Volks. For best results, use a styrene cutter to cut it (score it and snap it), and glue it with a plastic solvent (model glue) instead of superglue.

Yeah, the Joshin Kidsland around here has a good selection of plasticard and accessories. I bought some for terrain work.

I haven't done any painting this week... but I have prevented future re-painting (hopefully) by buying a carrying case from KR. :)

Doing battle with the local hive swarm tonight (1250 pt)!

It depends. The plasticard I got in Kahma didn't like plastic glue at all (it had no effect) and was best cut with a sharp knife. But, if you're in Nagoya, the options Ten suggested are probably your best bet.

Thanks for all the replies! I live right next to a Kahma home centre, so I'll give that a try first.

So far today I have built 10 Celtic warriors (Putting me at about 80 finished and only 120 more to go.) I also got through another 30 or so pages of Osprey's Essential Guide to the Napoleonic Wars. There are so many French Generals, Marshals, Corps and Divisions, it's hard to keep it all straight in my head. It did give me some ideas for scenarios once Job and the Ruckster get their forces in order though.

past coupla days, it's been de-spruing, cleaning, and carefully applying de-bending heat to my eldar pirates. It's a shame, actually, cos I really, really want to put dark eldar heads on em, but then if I do, what was the point of spending 15quid on corsair bits, hmmn?

Got my Aeonic Orb and the almost-last of my Tyranids based and primed (all that's left are Genestealers and a second Dominatrix and big bio-titan I don't have bases for).
Feel free to call me Dave!
