No modeling today - except for Christmas cookies and a beef, turnip and Guinness pie for tomorrow. Maybe I'll decorate the crust so it counts. Good practice for molding green stuff?

Roasted a turkey, made stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes for my in-laws. Had a great Christmas eve! I even got a bunch of Jojo stuff... Probably play some board games tonight too...

Went to the pub after work and got hammered on Guinness and cider, then a fish supper. Even better, the hangover goblin seems to have taken Christmas off!

went to a paternity class, wore a fake baby-bump, saw baby on the scanner. Planning on a rather non-event christmas this year, as we cant go anywhere and I have no idea how to go about laying on a big christmas dinner (and tbh for just the two of us I dont see the point, especially since kaz cant eat much just now (tum is squished by presence of baby.) We're going to a posh restaurant tomorrow, tho, so that should be nice.

also got my copy of IA11 in the post. (see other thread). V nice book. V nice indeed.

I got some free time this evening between all the cooking, shopping and cleaning and I managed to build two Roman bolt throwers and 8 Zulu warriors.

Went to Yellow Submarine in Tokyo, my husband sold a bunch of used Role playing books, and I bought a Hive Guard and a Zoanthrope. I think I have to stop buying stuff now and actually start assembling/converting/painting what I've got

My wife and I sat down and painted the miniatures from the Alvin and Dexter Ticket to Ride expansion of the same name. She's already really good at it... her giant dino monster looks great! I was hoping I could get her to play Super Dungeon Explorer again tonight, but we're off to dance salsa instead. Ah well! ;)

Today I built the first of two buildings from my new Rorke's Drift box set. And I watched Thor on DVD. Not bad. :D

Went shopping with the missus and bought a bread maker (wanted one of them for ages, actually), and almost bought a new washing machine.

I also made cranberry/gorgonzola stuffed chicken with italian potatoes. Havent actually eaten it yet as it's still cooking, but here's hoping it tastes better than that bloody cheese smelled...

*edit* it did, in fact, taste pretty dang good actually, and I'm fairly chuffed with my first forays into stuffed/roasted chicken. Feeling a bit bloated now, mind you...

I watched the 4 Worlds Strongest Man qualifiers, drank lots of micro brewed Japanese beer, opened presents with the family, and did a BBQ for Xmas dinner. On the menu was steak, lamb chops, pork in Thai BBQ sauce, garlic chicken, and spicy Turkish sausages. Epic dinner.
