OK, just one final thing on this before I delve deep and bankrupt myself.
Got a final quote for one unit this time. 45 plastic Empire state troops. Already primed and assembled when I send them to Bluetable so they are painting them adding shading, highlights at Level 4 and doing a personalised wine bottle banner for Johannes Teugan of Bogenhafen. 623 dollars there abouts including postage.

What do you think me hearties? Deal or no deal? Deposit is half of that price and required up front and the rest can be paid in instalments. Not bad.

I put in a quote a few days ago with some other companies and have heard nothing back. Shawn of bluetable has replied to every single mail in under 12 hours with full quotes each time. I think that is what appeals to me. They are customer service friendly and are very avaliable. I think this company are ideal if you had say a month before NH in May and just not enough man hours to put in to get something ready. Think ye not? Yay or nay? Koji I know you have had your doubts and then others think it's a good deal if you are building from scatch, ie assembling, priming etc.

$623 for one unit? Or $1400 for the whole army. It sounds like a big chunk of cash either way.
Personally I would say Nay, but then again, I dont have that much spare cash and if I did I would rather have more models than a painted unit.
If you have the money to spare and you really want them painted up nicely then go for it, but realise that for the same price you could buy THIS and still have money left over to take the missus out for a nice meal somewhere.

I am using BTP but for an other reason. that price seem a bit high I am sure you can find a cheaper way of doing it.

I say nay. Far too much cash for what you'd be getting. It may take forever, but doing them yourself will be far more satisfying in the long run.

2. Do you mind if the model's are painted in a very basic table top quality? (remember they are honest about their quality "Looks good across the table as a whole unit"
3. Does your gut say 'Yes, that is a fair price?' - forget about the fact that Shawn is a very nice guy, which he is, just quickly answer yes or no?
4. Will your wife be mad if you spend the money?
