I like it. Whilst you only have one pose for the model, I think that is a fair trade off for the price. Ogryns are a huge marketing fail, they are hideously expensive to buy, but not that useful in your army that you need to have them. I have used Ogryns once in 40k, using WFB ogre models as proxies. They were pretty average for their points value and I am certainly glad I didn't pay their $ value. A squad of 5 will set you back 14700 yen at current rates. Ouch.Admiral-Badruck wrote:this is the genral idea...
I cant wait to see what the Admiral cooks up.

Tamiya makes a yellow/white sculpting epoxy.
I got some at the Joshin Kids Land here in Toyama.

Re: Reaper Miniatures - BONES
I used some of the tamiya putty years and years ago. I remember one flavor was the quick-setting variety, the other I can't recall. I prefer greenstuff. The tamiya I found to be a little too soft, but that might have just been me or the type I was using. Can't recall how much cheaper it was.Admiral-Badruck wrote:I have seen that do you like it? If you want to bulk out a model, try milliput. It has a more clay-like consistency, hard to do fine detail, but works good for a base layer. And it's way cheaper than green stuff.

Re: Reaper Miniatures - BONES
Can you get milliput in Japan? It's my sculpting medium of choice, but I haven't seen it here (I stock up whenever I go back to the uk) . It mixes well with green stuff, too, btw, for a slightly stretchier texture. Still dries hard as a rock, tho (which I find very important for sanding and post-cure sculpting work)
