Seeing as everyone with a car is not willing to help I also have no car no license and all that. But Icahn show you a site that could help you. http://movers-japan.com/CompanyList/Chu ... hin-Japan/

BTW, the bicycle thing is not entirely a joke. Mie to Anjo is far but doable. (A good work out, too.) So Badruck if you feel ready to work out, we can help that way.

Of course the other sensible alternative is to use the train lines between Mie and Anjo. If you have a bunch of people carrying a box/suitcase each, you can get everything between Mie and Anjo pretty easily. The whole trip can be done with only one transfer at Nagoya. Hopefully Jus lives fairly near the station.

Jus, I want to help in some way if I can. How about your company. I remember first time I came to Japan they arranged kuroneko to transport my suitcase from the airport to the apartment. Might be worth giving them a try: http://www.kuronekoyamato.co.jp/en/ These guys are good and quick and probably the best option rather than lugging it all yourself.
Failing that I may be able to help on a weekend but when are we talking? I'm not available this weekend. I don't have a car but I can help you load stuff on a van at one end for an afternoon (Mie). How many boxes are we talking?
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

ok, so the list of things are as follows:

1 suit case, 1 hand carry, 1.5 by 2.5 foot fold in table, leather back desk chair (big), 1 swivel chair, assortment of bags and boxes.

Its not a big move at all. I don't have a lot of stuff. I just need a car and driver.
I can do the boxes by delivery so that shouldn't be a problem. The furniture can probably fit in one car load. I don't have an address yet, or a date, so this is more a heads up kind of thing, its bound to happen in a few weeks.

I have moved with removalists before, but they are a bit expensive.

@job: biking with furniture...seriously? ..like seriously? yeah I don't think thats going to work.

And the dark lord Jus has settled into his new lair in the land of anjo. From this stronghold he will beat down all resistance, break the last defences, and cover all the lands in a second darkness.

Big thanks to Rob and his friend Kiku-chan the gifted driver, who helped me move everything and in good time. Time to get painting!
