I can't promise I'll be there all day, but I'm confident I can be there long enough to let dlord use my cryx for a game of warmachine. Heck, I could bring enough for 2 cryx armies and I could teach him, if folks prefer.

@ MIJ - A quick tutorial would be great.

I will try read the main rules by then, but probably not the faction books. So somebody who knows both armies would be best. A very small bash would also be the name of the game.

I'll bring some representative cryx stuff. I have enough to do two small balanced armies, and since theyre a faction I know reasonably well (er... The only faction I know...) I can hopefully show you the ropes. If prim could bring some khador, it would be helpful to illustrate how the different factions play, though.

I'll try to make it for the afternoon, with Ogre in one pocket and Dungeon World RPG in the other.

Which edition of Ogre is that?

Mine is the pocket box from the early 1980s, although the map is not original.
I put money towards Kickstarter for the new edition, and plan to pick it up (all 7 kgs of it) when I'm home this Christmas.

As for Dungeon World, it looks absolutely neato-mosquito:

Can I see a show of hands from those who would like to play Magic?

There are many ways to play, so below are some options:
(1) Learning the game -- I've got special decks for new players to get their bearings.
(2) Commander (EDH) -- Multiplayer Magic with powerful decks and political intrigue.
(3) Zombie Apocalypse -- Team up to fight back the Horde.
(4) Cube Draft -- Draft decks on the spot from a pool of cards.
(5) Regular deck battles -- 1-on-1, or 2-on-2 (two-headed giant)

I'll provide decks for whoever's interested--though you're welcome to bring your own.
The 17th is fine for me. Looking forward to it!

I'd like to learn how to play Warmachine. Hopefully I'll have a 25point Cryx to bring.

A painting tutorial would be great too :D

Sounds good to me. I can run a demo game of war machine for kojibear and Dlord, and do a bit o painty teaching on the side.
