I'd like to learn how to play Warmachine. Hopefully I'll have a 25point Cryx to bring.

A painting tutorial would be great too :D
Sounds good to me. I can run a demo game of war machine for kojibear and Dlord, and do a bit o painty teaching on the side.
More Cryx? Oh well.
I will bring my models so we dont have a Cryx on Cryx demo. Plus Khador is the easiest faction rules wise.

There are many ways to play, so below are some options:
(1) Learning the game -- I've got special decks for new players to get their bearings.
(2) Commander (EDH) -- Multiplayer Magic with powerful decks and political intrigue.
(3) Zombie Apocalypse -- Team up to fight back the Horde.
(4) Cube Draft -- Draft decks on the spot from a pool of cards.
(5) Regular deck battles -- 1-on-1, or 2-on-2 (two-headed giant)

I'll provide decks for whoever's interested--though you're welcome to bring your own.
The 17th is fine for me. Looking forward to it!
Magic won't be my first choice, but if I am free, I may be up for a game. Like I said though. Other than Warmachine I will be playing it by ear.

In Soviet Khador, warjack casts you!
One of the Japanese players has Cryx I believe as does Yarrick's wife, though I guess you might not have met the Yarricks yet.

@ Jesse. Likewise I'll be busy in the morning with Black Powder and hopefully a rather exciting doubles battle between Great Britain and Prussia Vs The Ogre. After that I'll dabble in a bit of Magic and pick up some painting tips from the guru. MIJ, painting table.

So it looks like we will have 3 tables in the afternoon plus a painting table.
MIJ: I can bring some newspaper and paint pots but can you bring materials. People who wish to paint can bring their own paints along. :)
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Was anybody thinking of playing Blood Bowl? I have dice and two teams but no board or ruler.

I'm a "go" for the 17th.

If you need a player I'd love to join. Of course I come without cards. Like Asch, I'm tied in with some Napoleonics in the morning.
