aheheh :D

just to explain Prim's newfound allergy to warjacks with harpoons...

It has been a habit of his, when using The Butcher of Khador (a large angry man wiv a large magic axe and a large angry dog) to win. He's won all the games he's played with him bar his first, when I lucked out and shot evil black bolts of death up his arse from the top of an unassailable hill.

For the Naghammer tourney, Prim took The Butcher and a number of very large, very tough warjacks. They had big axes, too :P

As was his wont, El Butcheroo lurked behind his big, scary, metal, axe wielding mobile walls, and waited for some poor sod to get within clobbering range.

At which point my harpoon wielding jack wandered up, and in his very best Scorpion-from-Mortal-Kombat voice said

"get over here!"

and yoink, just like that the butcher was no longer standing behind two large Khador jacks, but instead found himself standing in front of two large, angry Cryx jacks.

In his defence, it took them 2 turns to kill him, and he took one of em with him but nonetheless, he got good and deaded.

Hence Prim's somewhat understandable dislike of harpoons. I have a mind to get some Black Ogruns, which despite being fugly models do have the advantage of being an entire unit armed with harpoon guns :D :D :D

@MIJ What game system are you talking about, it sounds well good.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

...ah...have those too... :? But they ARE very piratey! I wish I had those big troll guys too but they were quite expensive. Though they are all metal and quite large, so that is understandable. :!:

There is old Chinese proverb, do not use harpoon to kill mosquito.

Ah, but if said mosquito was clad in power armour and had a rilly rilly big magic axe, a harpoon might be in order, no?

@ash - warmachine. Well good, as you so wisely point out :D

@Koji - yuss! Get the blighted trollkin - you know you want to. Gerlak Slaughterborn is a frickin monster in combat. I dont have them, but I wants em, yes I does, my precious *rubs hands together*.

I tend to buy my cryx thematically, so I have 25pts of witchy cryx, 25pts of scabrous machine slave cryx, and my next cunnin plan is for 25pts of badass mofo cryx (i.e.gerlak, trollkin, tartarus, bane knights, a seether, and venethrax, or something like that. no guns, granted, but once they catch you? its clobberin' time...)

ah, a man can dream...

Sure. What time are you thinking?

Excellent. I'll bring some filthy decks for you to abuse me with.

I'll have decks for you if you do decide to play.
