This storm is a bit ominous! Apparently we have our storm warning from 12 midday until 6 here in Tsu so even though I can't make it today you guys in Nagoya should be able to get some games in before it all goes tits up.
@ Lovejoy, get your Empire out of bed and down to Joshin as Mike needs a player for fantasy in the afternoon now.
@Mike, That is if you are still going Mike?
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Well, getting home was exciting, and my brand new Dropzone Commander book got all wet. Still, a nice day! And Necrons in Epic are pretty hardcore, which was a nice thing to learn.

I'm sorry to hear the Dropzone Commander book got wet, but I want to say, it looks like a really nice publication. Maybe someday I'll bite at the 'skirmish' level...

As for the Epic Necrons. They are hardcore, but I thought still very balanced and fitting for the game. The matched interestingly with the Tyranids. Very closely fought and I enjoyed the game. Thanks!

Also thanks to Koji for an awesome game of Warhammer. It was a very closely fought affair through 5 turns. I think a sixth turn would have done little to settle the affair then to see the game a complete draw. Awesome game.

And thanks to Mike for the deals!

Thanks Ten for the game too. A bitterly contested contest, as is the way with most Elf vs Elf battles.

Yep, close battle with lots of death here there and everywhere as Arkhan the Black sent the Tomb King's minion to die for him. I don't think the Tomb King appreciated Arkhan casting spells through his own warriors though even if it did result in some delicious Dwarven souls being fed to the Casket...which was later destroyed.
Arkhan would have had to make a quick retreat if he had escaped Argyle's staunch bunch in the 6th turn. Oh that dastardly Arkhan! So dastardly!

Anyway thanks everyone. :) Hope you all got home OK despite the rain etc... Sorry about your book ToD. :(

Aye! Upon returning home, I immediately began devising a plan to defeat you next time!

And then my computer monitor suddenly died — some foul Dark Elf magic, no doubt — so I had to hop in a taxi in the middle of a typhoon to find a new one somewhere. (I have work deadlines tomorrow morning!)

Arkhan is a very vicious and truly powerful undead-babe. First she blasted Lord Thurid and a half dozen of his hammer-carls into another dimension. (Ah, I think that hardy Balin will make his way back, somehow and sometime.) Then she caressed away madame Trude's bosom. Well, Argyll might even have been intimidated because I forget to declare a challenge with him. Ah, next time. Currently without the leadership of Balin, it might be time for Argyll Ironfoot to lead the throng.

Maybe the dwarves made off with some of the tomb king gold, but there are a lot of grudges now to be put in the books, particuarly for blowing up the lord of the clan and besmirching the honor of our banner-maiden! :D (Well, played game BTW!)

@ Ten: Good luck the monitor business.

Augh! Just one thing after the other and I couldn't get out of the house. Sorry, I said I'd drop that terrain for Orktoberfest and didn't do it. Sorry again.
