Epicstravaganza Two: Good to Go

Post by The Other Dave » Tue Oct 09, 2012 11:16 am

Hey everybody,

The room is a go! Saturday, December 8th. Doors will open at 9:30, if that's all right, so we can hit the ground running with games at 10:00. Morning games will go 'till 1 or so, we'll take a break and come back at 2 for afternoon games.

Location: Meihoku Community Center. Here's a map: http://goo.gl/maps/2UbSo
That's about 2 minutes from the Heian-dori subway station on the purple subway line, and 10-15 minutes by foot from Ozone station on the JR Chuo line. Feel free to PM me for contact info in case you get lost on the day.

What you need: Dice, a tape measure with centimeters on, and (if you have one) a small GW blast template. *edit to add* oops, I forgot: 500 yen as well, to cover the room charge.

From the last thread, participants look to be:
MiJ: Eldar or Nids
Tenorikuma: Imperial Guard
Primarch: Astral Claws
Spevna: Adeptus Mechanicus (joining from the afternoon)
Badruck: Ork Warhorde
Ashmie: Blood Angels
YellowStreak: [Slot reserved, waiting on confirmation]

Which, as far as I'm concerned, is just about perfect. It gives 6 not-me participants in the morning, so I can hover and be a rules dude, and 7 not-me participants in the afternoon, so I can play. It's 4 tables, so I'll need to borrow a couple of mats and a smattering of terrain, but I think we can figure something out.

Thanks again everyone for the interest! Let's make this happen.

I've got a GW battlemat if you want to borrow it, Dave. I live around the corner from the location (well within a 1.5 km; but a brief ride by bicycle) so I'm sure we could figure a hand off if you need it.

Of course, you've got Prim who's loaded with stuff.

Tell me if that last spot opens up.

Looks like I'll be there. And the beauty of it all? Nothing to carry. Hooray! Look forward to seeing you all again :D
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Is there a place for mulled wine at Epicstravaganza or is it a non alcohol venue?
