Oct. 27 regular event at Zengo

Post by asch » Sun Sep 29, 2013 10:01 am

I'm afraid Joshin won't be available for Oct's regular Nagoya event.
Kondo-san has checked webpage of Lifelong Learning Centers of Nagoya city, only to find they have no room available on the day (Oct. 27). Kanayama Civic Hall won't be available neither.

Because of this the regular event on Oct. 27 is not booked for now.

Kondo-san is still searching for rooms (such as rental meeting rooms) available on Oct 27 and located in the downtown Nagoya (where everyone can visit easily and he can go to check the candidate rooms when he's off duty).
I will let you know about the development. If you have venues to recommend, please let us know.

Update: Thanks to you16-san, we have managed to get the venue for Oct. 27, Toyoake City South Community Center in front of Zengo Sta. We will have only 11 tables (3 games at a time). I would inform the detail (open and close hour, etc.)

I think there is a public hall with rooms for rent next to the メイテレ building in Higashi Betsuin. I'm not sure what it is called though.

The lifelong learning center is closed from the middle of October for about 6 months as they are reforming the building.

I suppose it's Higashi Betsuin Kaikan, annexed to Higashi Betsuin Temple. It has variety of rooms, but all of them have been reserved by other parties except smallest one.
Anyway, thanks for your informations.

The Venue, date, and time

Post by asch » Sat Oct 05, 2013 3:16 pm

The venue for our monthly event in this October is Meeting Room B, Toyoake City South Community Center in front of Zengo Station, Meitetsu.
It is Oct. 27 and it opens from 9:00 to 21:00. So we can stay longer than usual if we want, but we have less tables. We have only 11 standard foldable tables, which means 3 game tables at a time.
The venue is the same with the join event we had and many of you know, but I copy and paste a link to Google Map.

I should be able to come. Zengo is actually much closer to me than the normal location.

It's somewhere in the building with the MUFJ sign, right?

I can come, but only for a morning game, as usual.

Asch, did you want to fight our campaign game? I probably can't come for the December Joshin so this would be our best chance!

I should have no problem attending, its right on my local station line. If there are any players up for Bolt Action, WFB, Strange Aeons, or anything pretty much, I would be happy to oblige. Its late and my brain is tired after dressing as a kind of low rent Gandalf and enduring numerous photo ops for a works Halloween do, but I can be more distinct later.

I'll be there, for a change. I could do WFB, or if anyone wants to muddle through some Monsterpocalypse with me that would be neat too.
Feel free to call me Dave!

OK. I suppose it should be 2000 points on each side.
I haven't studied the renewed Liz Armybook, so please be patient of teaching me their special rules.
I'm afraid I would leave home after helping my son to eat breakfast and change his clothes, and then arrive at Zengo around 10 a.m.

YES! It's on 4th Floor, while the MUFJ is on the 2nd.

That's nice. I would bring my Terrasaur or Apes this time.
