I will be at joshing all day unless no one is has a game for me to play. I will bring 40k and some Gorkamorka stuff.

If any one wants a set of terrain for Gorkamorka I can bring that along you may have it for free.

Thanks for the games today guys. I had fun trying out Bolter Action and Advanced Space Crusade. It was nice to have a chance to play Hail Caesar again, even if my Celts were mercilessly crushed by the Romans.

A good day of gaming to wrap up the year.
Thanks!

Hail Caesar was good fun! Any game where I can feel confident in the rules by the second turn is A-OK by me.

I think Konrad and I hit on the key rule to help balance out ASC - limiting each model to one reaction per enemy activation, rather than being able to react each and every time the enemy model does anything in your LoS. Should make Overwatch more useful, too. I was getting pretty nicely beat up in a secondary objective battle - at the cost of most of the Tyranid models around, but the way reinforcements work that's still probably a Tyranid victory in the long term. Looking forward to getting more games in, although the early 90's game disease of "needing a full day to play it" may limit how often I really get the chance.
Feel free to call me Dave!

@TOD Advanced Space Crusade was so fun I almost choked to death on my sandwich. "early 90`s game disease", well put. Good retro-fun anyways and it is always a pleasure to play a game with everything nicely and completely painted. And really, with a bit of conversion work you could mount metal minis on those bases. Zoats man! It would be worth it!
@the Madmiral- We'll get 'em next time.....next time the Boyz get a new codex.......... And thanks for the bitz and the terrain! I should have those Greenstealaz cobbled together within a couple days.
@Koji- coal in your stocking. You should not have dropped those grenades on Santa.
...and now his Head was full of nothing but Inchantments, Quarrels, Battles, Challenges, Wounds, Complaints, Amours, and abundance of Stuff and Impossibilities.....
