Kuwana/Yokkaichi gaming Feb 2

Post by Dungeon Lord » Sun Dec 15, 2013 6:40 am

EDITED: January 16th, 2014.
Hi everyone,

The next event is on February 2nd. But the place is different. I'd like to encourage a heavy focus on board/card games this time round. I will be bringing Space Cadets Dice Duel and Forbidden Desert at the very least.

Feel free to bring Black Powder or something miniature based if you like.

Doors open at 9:30 and close whenever you like (some time before 10:00pm though). Gaming fee is 300 yen.

The February (and possibly March) event will be held at Naya Plaza in Yokkaichi, 3rd floor Room 5. The Kuwana Chousha are doing construction so I couldn't get a room. Come by JR and walk North. You will need to cross over the train track and it is just next to Route 23. It was an old school. Just google this address: 4−17 Kuramachi Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture 510-0045, Japan.

If you click the search button twice it will clear out the unneeded ones.

Hoping to make this, although my wife will be in her hometown settling in for the birth of our baby. If I'm not needed I'll be there!

Great guys Looking forward to seeing you there.

@ Lovejoy: Congrats on your (soon to be??) newborn. I hope you can make, but if you can't, no problem at all.

Really looking forward to some Dice Dueling!

I'm in. I'll bring Space Hulk.
Black powder too. ;)
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Awesome!

@ Lovejoy: Would you be interested in BP also? We could have a French Civil War with the Prussians and other nationalities joining. (The French Civil War: The Blue and More Blue. :D )

@Job, I think Black Powder could be possible, looks like I can make it. It's a shame we can't have fairly balanced historical style match ups, and will have to imagine a french civil war. Needs must eh.
I'm thinking of preparing a skirmish game too, my new Dredd minis game perhaps. I am a big fan, but it looks like I'm in the wrong country to interest anyone in it.

How many tables will be available for Black Powder?
How many people are planning to play Space Hulk/Advanced Space Crusade etc?

Hey if we have the French, British and Prussians converging on Kuwana maybe we can organize a time. Say set off 3-3.5 hours for BP with an emphasis on flow and time? We could even brigade extra Brits and French to other players (DL, ToD are you interested in playing?)

Then jump from the early 19th century to the late 401st century!

Well, I have zero interest in playing Space Hulk etc, but I don't mind coming along to play BP, so long as we aren't going to get through half a game and then have everyone bail to play something else.
