It could make for a frustrating game if it's used too prevalently.
I'm good thanks mate. This way I have an excuse if I lose.

Good to hear there will still be some BP action happening.

For those also interested, I got a new board/dice game called Space Cadets: Dice Duel. May not have the coolest sounding name, but it is a great team game. It will be my first time and I am looking forward to seeing how it goes! If anyone is interested, let me know!

@DL: I'm interested in playing other games including any methods you have for getting to throw dice or draw cards.

@ BP- guys: How about a different scenario? I was thinking a more defender-attacker mission.

There's a ridge running from the North down to the middle of the table. At the foot of the ridge is a road and beyond that a farm. The British begin camped below the ridge. The French emerge from the source of the road on the east side. (Variation the French march in from the North on the opposite side of the ridge.) the main objective is control of tr highway- 3VPs. The ridge and farm are worth 1VP a piece.

French have turn 1 and march onto the table.

British deploy out of their camp. (Variation the British have a brigade in reserve that appears either turn one from the West or Turn 2 from the south.)

(Variation British reserve brigade should be Ld 8 using Gen. Pakham's rules. Also another variation the british Calvary are Ld 8.)

I really don't mind. So long as I get to shoot some of ol' Boney's boys, I'm good.

Lovejoy, Prim and I are playing BP. Feel free to join the French cause!

Konrad and Satoru will be GorkaMorking. Is your inner greenskin calling?

DL, our venerable host, is running board games and such. I hope to join.

Unfortunately I don't see Space Hulk, unless you can bring it.

I believe Underdweller is also coming and joining in on the games.

Just in case people fancy travelling up to Yokkaichi together, I will be catching the 9:05 JR train from Nagoya (platform 12) and arriving in Yokkaichi at 09:39.
