Re: Epicstravaganza Four: Four Realz!
I'm really sorry, but I won't be able to make it either. I only have one day off that weekend, and it needs to be an at-home one. I feel really bad about piking - I know what a huge pita it is when people drop out late in the day. Humblest apologies

Cheers. Got my homework then. The Other Dave wrote:@Spevna & Badruck - Too bad! Hopefully next time!
@Konrad - Those'll do! Really the only differences in all the various flavors of EA rules are in how clearly some edge-case rules are written.

Not a problem, MiJ - I've called the event a success when as few as three or four people showed up!
So here's the current attendance list as it stands:
Me (Iron Warriors)
Lovejoy (Blood Angels)
Mike the Pike (Stunties)
job (Imperial Guard)
The Underdweller (Tyranids)
Konrad (Ork Gargant Bigmob)
Auxryn (Titan Legions)
Primarch (with his Marines, house-building permitting)
With Ork Warhorde, Necrons, and Craftworld Eldar still free if anyone wants to switch armies up or something.

Sorry I can't make it. Also apologies for booking the Tsu date on a same day. There is also a JIGG Nagoya boardgames day this day also. I don't think any of the players would be coming here instead though. It's actually impossible to book a Sunday where there isn't another gaming group running something these days. You could game every weekend if you wanted to and you would never know you were in a foreign country.
Hope it goes well.
Forget about yesterday, don't worry about tomorrow because all that matters is today.

Re: Epicstravaganza Four: Four Realz!
So, it's in a week, eh? Everybody good?
I just want to remind folks of a couple things:
First off, if this isn't your first time at one of my events, the venue is different this time! Please check the OP for a link and map and such.
Second, I'll be getting to the venue at 9 and setting up tables and so on - we do have the room until evening, so there isn't quite so much time pressure, but it would be nice to have everyone on hand by 9:30 or so. PM me for my phone number if you're worried about getting lost.
Third, if you happen to have some scale-neutral terrain (trees, hills, that sort of thing) to contribute, it would be helpful if you could bring a few pieces - my collection should be able to cover the 3 mats we'll need, but it might be on the sparse side without help. Primarch, if you end up being able to make it, you'll push us into needing-four-mats territory - do you know yet if you'll be able to?
Last, job, can you bring those DZC flying bases?
Looking forward to seeing you all there!

All is well with me. I'll be getting on the train bright and early to try and get to the venue on time.
Re: Epicstravaganza Four: Four Realz!
Sure. No problem. I'll bring the DZC bases. Also terrain for the event, I guess you won't be needing the battle mat, but you could use hills, orchard and road pieces? I also have those DZC buildings. The Other Dave wrote:So, it's in a week, eh? Everybody good?

If you can bring a little box of 'em it would probably help!Mike the Pike wrote:Still need some hills and/or other terrain etc?
@job, hills and orchards would be good - I think I have enough roads and buildings.
