Epicstravaganza Four: Four Realz!
Re: Epicstravaganza Four: Four Realz!
@ ToD the man in-charge: Certainly. Do you know what time we have to break camp? I'll need to leave for my in-laws, but I don't want to split before getting two full games in.

We don't have to vacate the premises till 7. Judging from the last event, though, we should be done with the afternoon full-size games by 3 or 4 at the latest.

Sorry, but I might split around 5, but not before I give my 2nd opponent a full game.

Ill need to leave about 5 as well. I have another gaming engagement later.

Looks like I will be a few minutes late due to train schedule vagaries.

Big thanks to Dave for putting on the great event. The location was very nice. The armies were fantastic. The terrain was wonderful, too. He didn't play a game and was amazingly patient with player questions. Pure awesome. Well done, Dave!
@Auxryn: good game. You really got the rules down pat on what I thought was your 2nd game. You also capitalized well on havin the initiative and made a good move on the infantry. Those pocket sized titans pack a punch. I guess I was able to fight back into it, but you definitely won that game well.
@Lovejoy: good game to you. I guess it was daunting for both of us to play such huge armies with so many new units. Sorry about kind of trying to push the pace of the game. I definitely thought you played your units well but you got really unlucky with that terminator strike in my opinion. That and the assault of your assault marines shocked me when I came out on top. Well, well fought on your part.

Re: Epicstravaganza Four: Four Realz!
A good time had by all! (Well, I hope!)
It seems to go more smoothly every time, and as job says, the key this time may have been that I wasn't playing, heh. But we had a lot of well-played, close-fought games, and it was a treat to see so many folks just having fun gaming.
Thanks everyone for coming!

Thanks TOD for organizing things. It was great fun, as always.
Cheers to Lovejoy and Konrad for the games.
