Re: June Joshin - SATURDAY!!!
@job - it's gonna be 1850pts of dark Eldar, with a smidge of Craftworld for seasoning. Nothing too mental, but in the interests of happy gaming I shall mention that I will be bringing a flyer, albeit not a very scary one. Other than that, standard codex stuff + my usual Forge World shenanigans.
@prim - I'll work out details for Mali tonight and let you know.

@ MiJ: I'll be bringing a flyer too. I'll be only bringing CSM but also a Chaos Helbrute formation. Oh, I'll dip into the Forgeworld stuff to spice things.

Re: June Joshin - SATURDAY!!!
@ ToD: Advamced space Crusade is a lot of fun. I like the rule set and I enjoyed the simple tactics of the game. The use of overwatch, cover and extra actions seem to add an extra layer of tactics to the game. And your board and minis look great. thanks.
@ MiJ: good game. It was a fun back and forth. Several memorable moments for me, like the strafing run of your fighter
that slaughtered some 18 cultists, the cannonade of your G-weapons, the Archon silencing the vulgar tongued biker champion, the her dancing her way about flames of the Heldrake, the grotesques fighting the Infernal Dreadnaught, and my warlord dying conjuring demons and attempting to summon a greater daemon. I think by KPs we were 8-5 in my favor by my rough count. Also you had Kill the Warlord and I had first blood. There were also a number of 1-marine/Eldar units on tr board. Maybe I could have captured your objective towards the end, but you also had some powerful units including the archon and the Tantalus. Whatever it was close and I enjoyed the back and forth at the end of turn 3

Re: June Joshin - SATURDAY!!!
@job - aye, many thanks for the good game, and as you say it had a nice back-and-forth feel to it. You defo had it in the bag by the en, though - my tantalus is nice and all but there's nothing it coulda done about the heldrake or your Sicaran. You used both those units well, particularly the Sicaran.
@prim - many thanks for Malifaux, too. I gotta get me some more games if that under my belt. I just feel I'm on the cusp of getting the hang of it. It'd help if Bishop would keep his hands to himself, though. That man needs to learn how to treat a lady...
Also, mad max - I have nothing bad to say about this movie. Nothing. It is that good. Inspirational stuff.

Re: June Joshin - SATURDAY!!!
@M_i_J - What can I say, Bishop is a fan of the old ways of thinking. Probably not a good idea to antagonize him!in the future. Dinner on the table when he gets home from a hard day down the (fighting) pit and far less razzle-dazzle and women's lib. You did pick a hard crew to get back into the game with though. As I've said before, Malifaux is a game where you need to understand how you win, because it's different for every crew.
@ToD - Space Hul.... Advanced Space Crusade was fun. Terminators vs. Genestealers is pretty traditional, though the 'Nid Warrior did pretty well once he got going. Smaller is definitely better for ASC I think. At least until everyone has a lot more games under their belt.
@All - Thanks for the chat and friendly atmosphere.

Re: June Joshin - SATURDAY!!!
@job and Primarch
Thanks for the games of ASC! Every game gives me a better handle on how to better tweak a fairly imbalanced game for balance, heh. I actually think both games today went all right, that said. I might have to still tweak the Tyranid reinforcement rolls a bit in their favor, or start them off with more blips, or something (they've still yet to win, actually), but that's about all I can think of that might make the game better - the actual on-the-ground mechanics and model stats seem good, although Terminators vs Termagants are a predictably one-sided match-up.
